Hudson and Brooklyn have been married since 2020 and have two sons, Judah and Knox. Having met leading worship in their local church, ministry has not only been a vocation for both of them but also a passion and calling.

Early in Hudson’s ministry career, it became clear that starting a church was somewhere in his future. This calling came from a desire to see a city reached with the hope of Jesus. Nearing the end of his seminary degree in 2023, God began to give the Garcias a vision for a certain kind of church to be started in one of the fastest-growing areas in one of the fastest-growing cities in America, North Phoenix.

In the summer of 2024, the Garcias stepped out in faith by quitting their jobs and entering a church planting training center for five months. The training center not only provided practical training in all aspects of church planting, but it was also the time when God drove the vision for Vintage Church deep into their hearts. The Garcias began to dream about what it would look like for a church to be sold out for seeing the glory of God manifested in their presence. A church that is rooted in the rich history of the Christian faith and is intentional in its pursuit of creating an excellent, high-impact gathering for skeptics and saints alike.

Out of this dream, the vision for Vintage Church was born. A historic faith, modern context church. A church where the glory of God is readily displayed. A church where life-giving truth is preached unapologetically in the face of cultural lies that lead to confusion, darkness, and death. A church where you can come as you are to explore the person and work of Jesus. A church where you can find authentic community for yourself and your family. A church where you can be part of a story bigger than yourself.

At Vintage Church, we have a vintage truth to proclaim and a vintage faith to believe in, and the thing about vintage is….. it never goes out of style.
